This course aims to explore a range of everyday herbs and their benefits, in cooking, in well-being and for other general uses.
This course will explore what makes a plant a "herb" and some of their modern and historical uses. We will also look at how to grow herbs in your own garden.
No previous qualifications necessary as course will aim to provide interest for all levels of gardener.
Access to the internet, a laptop or device to access Microsoft Teams. Be able to attend the weekly sessions.
Pen and Paper to take notes.
Tutor input, group discussion, some practical work, self-study.
The course is online delivered via Microsoft teams.
Question and answer, practical tasks and written results of research.
Learners will also be asked to complete a personal learning record at the start and end of the course.
