Description

This course aims to explore a range of everyday herbs and their benefits, in cooking, in well-being and for other general uses.

Course content:

This course will explore what makes a plant a "herb" and some of their modern and historical uses. We will also look at how to grow herbs in your own garden.

Requirements

  • No previous qualifications necessary as course will aim to provide interest for all levels of gardener.

    Access to the internet, a laptop or device to access Microsoft Teams. Be able to attend the weekly sessions.

What do I need to do this course?

Pen and Paper to take notes.

Teaching Methods

  • Tutor input, group discussion, some practical work, self-study.

    The course is online delivered via Microsoft teams.


    How is your progress checked?

    Question and answer, practical tasks and written results of research.

    Learners will also be asked to complete a personal learning record at the start and end of the course.
