Description

We can never have enough storage items for the home, and during this course, you can get creative, whilst solving this problem and making your own!

Course content:

During this course you will design and create your own small storage items, from cubes to bags to store your precious belongings in. You will learn a combination of techniques and also develop your sewing machine skills.

Requirements

  • An ability to use a sewing machine would be an advantage.

What do I need to do this course?

Sewing machine and basic sewing kit.

Fabric and thread will be provided.

Teaching Methods

  • On-line teaching through Microsoft Teams, using videos and e-resources, tutor demonstrations, guided exercises, one to one and group discussions, peer group input.


    How is your progress checked?

    Weekly feedback from tutor. Learners will be asked to complete a Personal Learning Record and you may be asked to complete a feedback questionnaire for our funding bodies. Observation, questioning, group activities, presentations and discussion.

    What can I do after this course?

    At CLIP we are also running, Creative Crafts, Level 1 Award and a short 6 week, Develop Your Crochet Skills course.
