About Course

First Aid could be one of the most important courses you could do, it will help equip you with the skills you need to respond in an emergency and potentially save a live.

A nationally recognised, accredited Level 3 First Aid course suitable for the workplace and for at home.

Course content:

tutor lead course comprising of PowerPoint, practical application, Q&A and a written theory exam.

What do I need to do this course?

Packed lunch, sensible clothes to allow movement/floor work.

Learners will need to be able to get up and down off the floor to evidence CPR techniques.

Please arrive a few minutes early as the training will start at 9am prompt. Late learners may not be able to join the training if they have missed vital information.

Photographic ID will be required for the day. Please ensure you bring this for the tutor to see (failure to bring could result in you not being able to sit the final assessment.) In the event that photographic ID is not available, please contact your local centre.

Requirements

    Numeracy - counting compression, etc.

    Literacy - reading presentation + exam.

    Support can be offered with the reading of the test at the end if requested on enrolment.

    How is your progress checked?

    Learners will be asked to complete a Personal Learning Record at the end of the course.

    Observation, questioning, group activities, presentations and discussion.
