Description

This 2 hour lesson is designed to help students set achievable goals to work towards. It includes group discussions, SMART targets and motivational techniques.

Course content:

This short workshop will look at why we have goals and what steps we need to take in order to reach these. Learners will set targets and strategies to help them aim towards goals in life and work. Learners will look at developing a positive in mindset and how this will impact on their outlook and response to life events to develop a more positive mindset and improved self-esteem.

Requirements

  • As this is an introductory course all those who are interested are encouraged to come along; no previous knowledge is necessary.

What do I need to do this course?

Be able to attend the session on the day and time.

Pen and Paper to make notes.

Teaching Methods

  • Group teaching and discussion, Quizzes, Q & A, work in pairs or small groups, observation of appropriate video clips and feedback

    Learners will be asked to complete a short Workshop Questionnaire on completion of the course
