This course covers the importance of Health and Safety within a workplace, the responsibilities of employers, employees and those self-employed. It explores what risk assessments are, the need for these and other provisions as well as the law surrounding Health and Safety.

Guidance work booklets are provided along with regular contact with the tutor via a range of methods suitable for you, email, phone, web chats and tutorials..
You will send your work to the tutor for marking at regular intervals. The tutor will give then you feedback on your work as well as any areas for improvement or any additional knowledge you may need to research to meet the unit criteria
