  • Learners will be able to identify what anxiety is.
  • Learners will be able to identify possible reasons for heightened anxiety.
  • Learners will be able to list the ‘five ways to well-being’ and to explore one activity they could do to help their own anxiety.

Description

Anxiety can affect us all, in different ways and in different situations.

In this course we’ll look at how anxiety can affect our thoughts, actions and behaviours. And we’ll explore how we can manage our anxiety through self-care, action plans and coping strategies.

You’ll finish this course more confident in your ability to manage your anxiety.

Course content:

The aim of this course is to enable learners to develop an awareness of how different situations can heighten feelings of anxiety and affect their well-being. Learners will also be encouraged to develop strategies to manage their own anxiety levels or those of family members etc. We will cover the wider impact of anxiety on everyday life.
