This course is designed for people that have some experience of using the PC/laptop. The ITQ level 2 Course consolidates and adds to your existing knowledge using Windows version 10 and Microsoft Office 2013. The course introduces learners to effective routines and tools to improve productivity using IT. Learners will learn how to use Microsoft Office Applications to a good standard and create professional looking documents as well as be able to locate specific information on the Internet and use communication tools in a business-like manner.

Learners need to be confident using the mouse and keyboard, know how to search for content on the internet, send and receive emails and basic navigation around a Windows environment.
Learners will have ideally completed the Computers for Improvers or the ICT Level 1 course previously.
A short questionnaire will be provided to check current level of knowledge.
Pen and paper or note book (not essential)
Mix of tutor input; individual written tasks; group discussions; computer and online practical tasks.
Task sheets/practical tasks and informal observation during sessions.
