Learners will be encouraged to develop strategies to manage their own anxiety levels or those of family members etc. We will also explore, how ‘Lockdown’ can heighten feelings of anxiety and affect their well-being.

How to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress or anxiety.
When does anxiety become a problem?

Factors that impact on our mental health and wellbeing,
what research says;
Risk factors and vulnerability.
‘Five ways to wellbeing’ and ‘10 keys to happier living’.
Identifying our own lockdown related anxieties.
Action for happiness resources.
Week 3:
Addressing the issues and building resilience.
Making small changes for bigger benefits.
Encouraging healthy habits.
Seeking professional help.
Week 4:
Exploring ways to help ourselves.
Identifying personal goals and objectives.
Keeping it realistic and achievable.
Week 5:
Creating a personal action plan.
Tracking your own progress.

Have access to a tablet, laptop or other device that supports 'Zoom'. Be able to attend the weekly sessions.
