Market Rasen

The Learning Centre in Market Rasen has been open since 2000. We offer a programme for 16-18s called Flare as well as accredited and non-accredited courses for adults.

Reception is in Café CLIP, 8 Queen Street.

Support is also available for those wanting to develop their computer skills, seek employment or further training. We hold a weekly Job Club on Tuesday mornings 10.00 - 12.00.

Container Gardening

This course is for those with an interest in growing plants in containers, particularly in limited spaces. We will look at a range of different containers, optimal growing conditions and what plants are most suited to container growing.  The course will be a mix of both theory and practical sessions, with opportunities to design and plant up your own hanging basket. Craft for Wellbeing

Mindfulness for Sleep and Relaxation

This is a practical course designed as an introduction to mindfulness for those interested in learning how mindfulness can help them with sleep and relaxation. Yoga

The aim of this course is to give an introduction to Yoga and its benefits. There will be a mix of practical and information sessions and it is intended that the learner will gain a better understanding of how their body ticks and ways in which they can improve their wellbeing. Wellbeing Toolkit-Managing Stress

This course will help you recognise the symptoms of stress and how it impacts on your ability to manage everyday pressures and your emotions. Growing from Seed

Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) accredited training courses teach people to spot the symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial help and guide a person towards support.
