Description
The aim of this course is to allow the participants to explore different creative activities that can promote well-being. Engaging in activities, through choice, that allow for personal ‘me-time’, the opportunity to learn new skills and to focus on something other than our everyday problems can be very beneficial in terms of stress management and well-being as well as being enjoyable. Over the duration of this course participants will get the opportunity to sample a number of different creative activities and determine whether any of them are ones they find it useful to engage in. Learning will be undertaken in a calm and relaxed way with the emphasis on enjoying the process of doing and making rather than the production of ‘finished’ work.
