There are many people with wonderful craft skills who regularly make items and presents for themselves, their home, friends and family. Could this skill or hobby be turned into a business – is it viable and is it something you would enjoy? We will look at the pros and cons of doing so while exploring topics such as brand, product range, costing and selling platforms to help you decide whether it’s for you. We will touch on legal aspects but this will be more fully covered in the self-employment workshops being held in each centre during the summer term.
