Appearing confident and having self-confidence are important personal attributes that can help us in all social settings including interview situations, in the work place and other formal situations. The aims of this part of the course are to examine what is meant by the term self-confidence, look at why some people seem to be more confident than others and explore ways in which we can build our own self-confidence.

According to The World Health Organisation Wellbeing is a “a state of complete physical, mental and social well- being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity” The NHS has also recognised the importance of well-being for individuals as this relates directly to how we see the quality of our lives. The aim of this course is to explore the ways that we can make improvements to our own wellbeing on a day to day basis.
