Our highly experienced team of Community Connectors will help you to build confidence, share your experiences and access wider support in your community. Activity is delivered each and every week, including drop-in sessions, group activities, one to one support, classes and workshops – so drop in or call us to find out more.
The Wellbeing Hub is funded through the NHS integrated care board.

Autism support groups: a safe haven of understanding and connection
Are you or a loved on the autistic spectrum? Or do you feel that you might be? You’re not alone. Our support groups provide a warm, welcoming environment where individuals, famiilies and caregivers can come together to share experiences, gain valuable insights and forge meaningful connections.

Thriving Abilities: Gainsborough
A support group for people with autism to take part in activities, explore their favourite hobbies, and be part of a community.
Groups will meet every Tuesday, starting from 1 April, from 1pm until 3pm. Meetings are at Gainsborough Uphill Community Centre (GUCC) in The Esmee Room. Not sure how to find us? We’ve put together a downloadable pdf to help you find where you need to go. Just click the link below: (coming soon).
At the sessions you can participate in a variety of activities that match your interests, such as air-dry clay, diamond art, gaming, board games, or anything else you are interested in. Either just take part in the activities or make new friends and socialise at the same time, there’s lots of things to do.

Donna Smith

Hi, my name is Donna! I’m the Wellbeing Hub coordinator and you’ll see me a lot at the groups. I love my dogs as well as swimming, nature, and the sea. I enjoy holistic therapies and thrive helping others. I’m also a mum and a nanny! I look forward to meeting you!
Sam Dunton

Hello there, I’m Sam and a Sessional Wellbeing Support Worker at the Mablethorpe Wellbeing Hub. I am a bit of a geek and love anything with a good story. I’m at my best when helping others and do my best to create an atmosphere around me that is safe and free for anyone in my vicinity. This means you’re free to be yourself without any worry about being judged. I’m a self-diagnosed autistic guy who knows how hard it can be trying to ‘fit in’ to society, so I work hard to help everyone know they belong and that this world is far better with us in it!
