Want to be at university this time next year but don’t have the qualifications? Invest in yourself with an Access to Higher Education Diploma.
What is an Access to Higher Education Diploma?
Do you dream of going to university and studying for a degree? Not sure if you have the right qualifications? Want to build your confidence first? An Access to Higher Education Diploma (Access to HE) might be perfect for you. Access to HE courses provide an alternative route to enter university for people aged 19 and over.
Access to HE courses are recognised and regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and our provision is delivered through the awarding body AIM. On your successful completion you will be awarded an Access to HE Diploma.
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but it’s advised that you have a minimum of a Level Two in Maths and English (or equivalent). You’re also expected to demonstrate a commitment to learning and the ability to study at a higher education level.
You may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan, through the Student Loans Company. These loans help cover the cost of tuition fees, and should you go on to complete a university degree, you will not have to repay your Advanced Learner Loan.
An Access to HE qualification is your stepping-stone to the degree or career you’ve dreamed of. So, what are you waiting for! Express your interest using the form below and we’ll be in touch to talk through what happens next.
