Come along and discover how to create them on our latest course.

The colours, textures, and fragrances of the flowers create a multisensory experience that encourages relaxation and mindfulness.

You’ll create your own festive ring to take home with you too.

Course content:

Creating a festive wreath provides a soothing and calming experience. Selecting, cutting, and arranging seasonal materials can help reduce stress and anxiety. The colours, textures, and fragrances of the plant materials and accessories create a multisensory experience that encourages relaxation and mindfulness.

This workshop explores the use of plant material and accessories to create festive designs suitable for the home or for gifting by using a variety of techniques and skills in a soothing and calming environment.

Throughout the workshop y students will learn about conditioning and using plant material.

The emphasis will be on fresh plant material but there is an option for students to bring their own accessories baubles and ribbons to suit their own personal preferences for colour schemes.

What do I need to do this course?

Some foliage will be provided by the tutor but it will be helpful if learners can bring a small amount of bushy foliage. – Example list to be provided.

Basic Mechanics and scissors are provided. Students will need to bring a small selection of foliage- list of examples will be provided.

Accessories such as cinnamon sticks, orange slice, fir cones will be provided. Ribbons and baubles will be provided in greens, reds, golds, silver.

Students are welcome to provide their own ribbons and baubles to suit their own colour preference.

Selecting, cutting, and arranging plant material can help reduce stress and anxiety. The colours, textures, and fragrances of the foliage and plant materials create a multisensory experience that encourages relaxation and mindfulness.</p><p> </p><p>Students should know how to use a pair of scissors.</p><p> </p><p>1.
