About Course

Done your Level One and Level Two Makaton qualification? Looking to build your knowledge further?

Our Level Three Makaton course will take you through 100 new signs. You’ll also begin to analyse the components of signs and create sentences to hold a conversation in Makaton.

Course content:

  • Recap signs from stages 3 and 4
  • 125 signs from stages 5 and 6 of the core vocabulary
  • Importance of Translation and Interpretation
  • Sentence practice – signing simple sentences, more complex sentences and conversations
  • How to use Makaton (not just a set of vocabulary)
  • How to analyse signs and record

What do I need to do this course?

A level 3 manual provided by CLIP

(it would be beneficial to bring along level 1 and 2 manual too)
