Welcome to the new Community Wellbeing Garden, based at the Campus for Future Living on Stanley Avenue. This will be a shared green space for everyone in Mablethorpe to enjoy, learn, and grow together.

The new Wellbeing Garden is a community-led project. You can help to create a sustainable garden with raised beds, a polytunnel, seating areas and composting points. Get involved with our horticulture workshops where you can pick up new gardening skills to use both at the Community Garden, or at home.

We’ll be hosting community gardening groups to bring the community together – all experience levels are welcome!

Why get involved?

  • Learn how to grow and care for plants.
  • Improve your health and wellbeing by spending time outdoors.
  • Meet new people and feel more connected.
  • Help create a lasting green space for Mablethorpe.

Ways to take part

  • Join a workshop or gardening session – no experience needed.
  • Volunteer to help with watering, planting, and garden care.
  • Come along to events and have your say in shaping the garden.

What’s next

The project runs in two stages. Over the autumn-winter period we will be planning the garden space, building, composting and preparing for the season ahead through our workshops. Once we get into spring-summer 2026, we will start weekly gardening sessions, more workshops to learn all about tending to the garden, and an open day to celebrate the launch of the new space.
