About Course

This course is intended to introduce learners to the concept of Safeguarding and the Prevent duty. Learners will be shown what is meant by the terms safeguarding and prevent, and they will learn how these responsibilities relate to their daily lives

Course content:

This course explores key safeguarding and Prevent terminology, helping learners consider what these terms mean within the context of their own lives. It also provides guidance on how to access and participate in the course using Microsoft Teams, supporting learners to navigate the online platform confidently.

Learners will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their digital skills, enabling them to engage fully with all course materials and activities. In addition, the course includes an introduction to Level 1 Safeguarding and Prevent content, designed to support learners in carrying out their volunteering roles safely and effectively.

    The tutor will offer both informal and formal feedback, delivered in written and verbal formats.
